  FAMILY STAR MOVIE REVIEW

FAMILY STAR

FAMILY STAR is a 2024 Telugu movie directed by Parusuram Petla, starring, Vijay Devarakonda, Mrunal Thakur and others. Parasuram is known for his rom-coms. He previously directed films like, Solo, Geeta Govindam, Sarkaaru vaari paata etc. And in all his movies, characters have more importance than the plot. And this time he wanted to impress the audience with the family Star, but it didn't achieve the mark and the star got misfired/ shot. While, parasuram's movies have a good amount of wholesome entertainment, he is capable to pull the familes to the theatres, and this being a movie completely about a family, majority of the families are interested to watch this and have booked their tickets already Family Star has lot to cater but, we are not ready to enjoy them as we all already had them before. It's the same movie about the ego clashes and the perception that people have on middle class families. The film follows the early 20s template where the hero's characterisation starts with a fight.

And goes with the regular boring screenplay. Now coming to the story, Govardhan (Vijay) an engineer who is the only source of income for his family and he only takes the responsibilities of them. With the entrance of Indu (Mrunal) @ his house, his thinking and mindsets gets changed and creates an ego clash between them. As destiny having different plans for them, creates a completely new situation for them and makes them follow it. What lead to the clash and how will they solve it , needs to be watched. While, any movie should be able to make the audience relate to the situation, this makes us detached and this is what disappoints the audience. Too much of cinematic liberty too bombs the film. The misconception of middle class, VD's different slang and highly repeated story can be called as the negatives of this movie. The leads literally acted well. Esp, Vijay, his acting was phenomenal. The fun scenes were mediocre and the relationship between the lead was disconnected. All I could enjoy in this movie were the action scenes, the bgm attached to it and the performances. The negativity campaign against this film might let the film go down from the 3rd day. And I feel that the hatred too is not required. It's just a regular family drama, with fun. As I watched it without any expectations, would suggest youll the same. The families might enjoy this film. But not the youth. Verdict - It's basically a Venky Atluri script directed by Parasuram.

FAMILY STAR REVIEW

"A Surprisingly Enjoyable Experience: A Review of Vijay’s Latest Film THE FAMILY STAR " Amidst the polarizing opinions surrounding Vijay and his latest movie, I decided to give it a chance, and I’m glad I did. Contrary to the negativity, I found the film to be quite enjoyable, particularly in its first half. The initial portion of the movie captivated me with its engaging storyline and strong performances. Vijay’s portrayal was convincing, drawing me into the narrative effortlessly.
The pacing was spot-on, keeping me invested throughout. However, the second half did have its flaws. While still entertaining, there were moments that felt unnecessary or dragged on. Trimming down certain scenes by 10-15 minutes would have enhanced the overall viewing experience. Despite its imperfections, the movie shines as a great option for a family outing. Its positive aspects outweigh the negatives, making it a worthwhile watch. Overall, Vijay’s latest offering delivers an enjoyable cinematic experience that’s perfect for spending quality time with loved ones.

FAMILY STAR

Movies are just entertainment until the story touches our heart it will become a messenger to lives. Positive Side: As a person of a family you should feel your family responsibility heartfully and family members as the best company. Negative Side: Working at home after or before the office is good but you should not make them innocent by stopping them from facing the world in behalf of you
